Ushi (Camano's Urushiol Unruffled) passed away at 10am on 11 January 2011.
Uno (Camano's Unison Uno) left to rainbow bridge with almost no warning at 21:25 on Saturday 25 June 2011
just hours before celebrating her 12th birthday with her brother Ulan.
Twenty-four hours earlier she was still pulling me out the door at her usual speed
and back in to fetch her chicken treat standing on her hind legs.
She was always in a hurry.
Only two weeks ago I noticed the first grey hairs around her muzzle.
She did become more affectionate during the last few months,
and it took me longer to wake her up from a deep sleep.
Both are known signs in an older dog that the end may be approaching.
Of course she knew that all along.

I will miss my little spirited girl.
